Aircraft Interior Cleaner
Department: Operations
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Aircraft Interior Cleaner responsible for maintaining aircraft cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation between flights. This role ensures a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for passengers and crew while meeting strict turnaround times and aviation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect cabin areas (seats, tray tables, overhead bins, panels)
- Remove trash and sanitize high-touch surfaces
- Clean and restock aircraft lavatories
- Clean galley (kitchen) areas and prepare for catering
- Prepare cabin for next flight (seatbelts, materials, alignment)
- Properly handle and dispose of waste per regulations
- Follow all safety procedures and report any damage or issues
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- English and/or Spanish preferred
- Experience in cleaning (aircraft, hotel, hospital, or similar) is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
Additional Requirements
- Ability to perform physical work and stand for long periods
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Driver’s License preferred
Work Environment
Fast-paced airport environment requiring work inside aircraft, often in confined spaces, with strict turnaround times.
